Conversation Around the Corner

Tales from the Beeyard
Tuesday, May 5, 2026
6:30 – 7:30 p.m.

On Tuesday, May 5, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., St. Matthew Lutheran Church (700 Pleasure Road, Lancaster) will host “Tales from the Beeyard,” a presentation by Cornell University Certified Master Beekeeper Lori Stahl.

Lori felt called to beekeeping in the late 1990s, never imagining the journey she was beginning. Over time, her work with honeybees led to the founding of BeeBee’s All Naturals. Each season, Lori rescues swarms and removes and rehomes honeybee colonies.

In this engaging presentation, Lori will share her personal beekeeping journey while offering insights into the fascinating world of honeybees.

Lori, who maintains several apiaries throughout Lancaster and southeastern York County, earned her Cornell University Master Beekeeper certification in 2019 and serves on the Pennsylvania Honeybee Advisory Board. She has also represented the Pennsylvania State Beekeepers Association on the Pennsylvania Farm Council, chaired its legislative committee, and served as treasurer of the Lancaster County Beekeepers Society.

Through her work, Lori is committed to educating both the public and fellow beekeepers on ways to support and protect honeybees.

This free event is part of St. Matthew’s Conversation Around the Corner speaker series, which aims to bring the community together through meaningful dialogue, shared learning, and diverse perspectives.
