Stephen F. Feldmann, CFP® (retired) has been an active community leader in the southern Pennsylvania area for nearly 40 years. His 34 years in the trust administration/wealth management business, most of it with M&T Bank and its York-area predecessors, helped him build trusted client relationships. He also garnered a reputation as a thoughtful, respectful advisor to both clients and management, and brings those qualities to his leadership throughout the community. After retiring from banking, Steve recently served the York County Bar Foundation as Director of Development.

Steve’s civic engagement extends over his entire career and includes board appointments with organizations as diverse as the Alzheimer’s Association of Central Pennsylvania, OPEN (York’s original AIDS support ministry), York Little Theater, The Salvation Army, United Way of York County (where he was named Volunteer of the Year) and the York County History Center. He also served for seven years on the Board of the York County Bar Foundation, including a year as its President.

Steve’s professional affiliations have included the Estate Planning Councils of both York and Lancaster Counties, Leave A Legacy, and the Financial Planning Association of Central Pennsylvania. He has conducted or facilitated strategic thinking/planning, estate planning workshops and planned giving seminars for area groups and organizations, and co-taught CE/ CLE courses in Estate Settlement and Estate Planning for PBI and other continuing education organizations.

Born and raised in York, Steve graduated from Central York High School, received a BA in History from Allegheny College and a MA in American Studies from Penn State. He earned the Certified Financial Planner® designation in 2008. He is married to Susan, a well-known vocal instructor and former assistant director of the York County Junior Honors Choir, and has 4 adult children.
