2025 Annual Quilt Auction
The Lutheran Camping Corporation of Central Pennsylvania
St. Matthew donated one quilt to the Camping Corporation’s annual Quilt and Craft Auction, held at Camp Nawakwa on Sunday, November 3. The quilt sold for $155, contributing to a record-breaking total of $17,750 raised for the LCC Endowment Fund. In addition, items made by St. Matthew members helped add to the excitement—Sheila Charles’s handmade scarf sold for $90, Cliff Eshbach’s framed photograph of the camp’s Assembly Hall (crafted from reclaimed cabin wood) sold for $110, and Barb Eshbach’s original S’more Dice game brought in $40.
2024 Annual Quilt Auction

This year, St. Matthew generously contributed three beautiful quilts to the Camping Corporation’s annual Quilt Auction, which took place at Camp Nawakwa on Sunday, November 3. The quilts were auctioned off for a total of $220 and are shown here with St. Matthew member Cliff Eshbach, who served as the Master of Ceremonies for the event. Overall, the auction raised an impressive $15,374 for the LCC Endowment Fund.
2023 Annual Quilt Auction
The Lutheran Camping Corporation of Central Pennsylvania
St. Matthew donated two quilts to the Camping Corporation’s annual Quilt Auction which was held at Camp Nawakwa on Sunday, November 5. The quilts, which sold for a combined total of $1,105, are pictured here with St. Matthew member Cliff Eshbach, the Master of Ceremonies for the event. A total of $15,690 was raised that day for the LCC Endowment Fund.
